Clear polycarbonate “H” sections are a budget way of joining multi-wall polycarbonate sheets to increase their length i.e. end on end. When using this section you must make sure they are supported by purlins as they have no self supporting qualities. Made from durable, UV-resistant clear polycarbonate, the clear finish blends in seamlessly with your polycarbonate sheets. Each size is designed for a tight fit to create a secure, leak-proof seal when joining sheets. They should also be well-sealed using a low modulus neutral core silicon.
Made for use with polycarbonate roofing sheets in 4mm, 6mm, 10mm and 16mm thicknesses, making them a versatile solution for a wide range of DIY and professional roofing installations. They can also be used vertically e.g. for cladding, screens and greenhouse glazing.
Sizes: 4/6mm, 8/10mm & 16mm

When installing ensure the profiles are well supported with purlins as they will not support the sheets without this.
Avoid prying the H Section parts open. Carefully insert and slide the polycarbonate sheets into the gaps for a secure connection. This helps with the seal to the sheet and helps prevents any damage to the section or sheets themselves.
Ensure that there is a little space between the end of the sheet and the internal face of the H-section to allow for expansion.
It is recommended that you run a bead of polycarbonate friendly (LMN) silicone along the underside of the top lips.
