How are products delivered?

The majority of delivery areas have set days each week making the lead times around three to four days. Some areas are on weekly runs which make the lead times longer. Most deliveries are made on our suppliers own vehicles however, occasionally they come by carrier service. All products are well packed and we will advise you of the expected dates of delivery when your order is placed. If you are unsure or would like to know more information on shipping to your postcode area please contact us on 01536 446395 before you place your order or look at our postcode map. Please note: Bank Holidays will affect this schedule, please call for further information in this respect. Remote, Highlands and Islands locations can result in longer lead times. There are a small number of postcodes that we cannot currently deliver to, we will advise you if this is the case. We cannot deliver to Ireland or the Isle of Wight. If in doubt please contact us before placing your order and we be happy to advise you.

We cannot deliver our GRP or Glass overdoor canopies to Aberdeen (AB) or Inverness (IV) postcodes.

We will always endeavour to meet delivery dates but cannot guarantee arrival of the goods on time. No claims for compensation for late delivery can be accepted. Please do not book any contractors or fitters until your order has been received.

What Glazing Bars systems do you offer?

We offer rafter supported glazing bars and self support glazing bars. Rafter bars are designed to sit on a framework e.g wooden rafters and the bars get their support from these. Self support glazing bars are just as described. They are stronger structurally, so no framework is required along the length of the bars.

Are there different types of Rafter bars?

We supply PVC snap down rafter bars and aluminium screw down rafter bars. PVC capped bars suit specific glazing thicknesses e.g 10mm, 16mm, 25mm,  32mm & 35mm. They are suitable for polycarbonate but are not suitable for glass.

Screw down aluminium glazing bars suit all glazing thicknesses and are designed for use with polycarbonate and glass.

Which of your glazing bars are suitable for polycarbonate?

All of our glazing bars are suitable for polycarbonate roofs.

Which of your glazing bars are suitable for glass?

Our screw down aluminium glazing bars are suitable for glass on rafter supported roofs.
Our self supporting glazing bars are suitable for 16mm and 24mm glass units.

Do all of your roofing products need to be bought individually or can you supply complete kits?

Some products are available to order in kits straight from the site, like our Lean To roof kits.
We can also put a kit together for you with all you need for a rafter supported roof. Just get in touch with the sizes you require and we will work out what you need and put together a quotation for a complete kit for you.
