6mm Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheeting

The most popular choice for Greenhouse glazing. However, also used internally for displays & vertical glazing purposes. This damage-resistant polycarbonate is co-extruded with a UV protective layer. This makes the sheet long lasting and offers protection from UV rays. Polycarbonate has very high impact resistance & fine optical clarity. The high performance UV absorption layer means longer sheet life. It also means prevention of yellowing & loss of strength. This means that the sheet will perform well over many years. Indeed it comes with a 10 year warranty.

Frequently Asked questions

Which way up does my polycarbonate sheeting go?

Polycarbonate sheets are delivered with a peel off protective film covering both sides. The top side of the sheet has co-extruded (built in) UV protection so the sheet must be installed the right way up. Usually only one side of the sheet will have writing on the protective film. That indicates that it is the top of the sheet and the roof sheet should be fitted with that side facing the sky. If there is writing on both sides look for the one that says 'this side up'.

Do the ends of the sheets need to be taped?

The open ends of the 6mm polycarbonate sheets do not come taped. If you wish to tape them you can use 10mm Antidust tape.

Which is the length and which is the width of a sheet?

The length follows the lines of the flutes down the sheet and the width is across them.
