Muntin Bar PVC Capped
Muntin bars are used in glass roofs horizontally to join glazing sheets to achieve longer projections. This PVC capped Muntin bar is suitable for use in conservatory roofs using 24mm double glazed glass units. They are non-structural as the glass unit provides the structural integrity.
This bar is not suitable for glazing with multiwall polycarbonate which is more flexible.
The base of the bar is powder coated aluminium and the PVC top cap has co-extruded gaskets for a watertight finish.
Length - 3000mm

Height - 30mm when glazing a 24mm unit
Colours are: White, Anthracite grey outer and white base, Rosewood outer and white base, Golden Oak and Rosewood
Muntin Bar for Glass units
This neat and effective Muntin bar can be used to increase the length of your 24mm glass units. The length of these can be restricted in the manufacturing process and the muntin bar will extend the projection you can achieve in your roof. This bar must not be used with polycarbonate roofs.
They are supplied in 3m lengths which can be easily cut to size on site.
The base is durable powder coated aluminium and the top cap is PVC with built in gaskets for weathering.
The bars are beautifully finished as follows:
White – white powder coated aluminium base and smooth white PVC top cap
Anthracite grey - white powder coated aluminium base and smooth Anthracite grey PVC top cap
Rosewood on white - white powder coated aluminium base and Rosewood foiled PVC top cap
Rosewood - rosewood foiled powder coated aluminium base and Rosewood foiled PVC top cap
Golden Oak - golden oak foiled powder coated aluminium base and Golden Oak foiled PVC top cap
