EPDM rafter glazing gasket designed to sit on top of timber rafters when glazing a roof with either polycarbonate or glass. Gasket available in widths of 50mm or 60mm (2” or 3”) and in 50m rolls.
Durable and UV stable EPDM for a long lasting finish.
This base gasket is part of the Sunwood conservatory roof system and is used as part of the 50mm and 60mm aluminium capped rafter bars.

Sunwood Timber Glazing Rafter Base Gasket
This base gasket is part of the Sunwood conservatory roof system and is used as part of the 50mm and 60mm aluminium capped rafter bars.
The gasket provides a stable seat and weatherproof seal beneath your glass or polycarbonate roofing sheets before your main glazing bar cap is installed.
How to fit
The gasket has a pip or stem underneath which is designed to fit into a pre-routered groove in the top of a rafter which helps to hold the gasket in place along its length for ease of fitting. If no groove is present the central section can be snipped and torn away along its length. The remaining gasket can then be easily secured with staples or similar.
